Melamine nanospheres and microspheres
with carboxy
functional surfaces
|
|
The melamine nanospheres and microspheres have
been modified to have a high density of carboxy functional groups.
Melamine nanospheres and microspheres with carboxy group terminated surfaces
are used for various
conjugation reactions in biomedical research, biotechnology in development
of variety of assays, microarray technology etc. Our melamine particles
have the following properties:
-
COOH groups: 1mM/g
-
Density: 1.51 g/cm3
-
Refractive Index: 1.68
-
Highly spherical with C.V. <3 %
-
High temperature stability up to 250°C
-
Excellent mechanical strength
-
Compatible with majority of inorganic and
organic solvents
-
Low non-specific protein adsorption
-
Good colloidal stability over a wide range of
pH values and ionic strength .
-
Available sizes: 500nm - 10µm
